About clip-clips
clip-clips is a website for discovering popular Twitch clips and searching clips by game or streamer.
Overview
clip-clips uses the Twitch API and the official Twitch embedded player to help users search and watch clips in Japanese, English, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, or all languages. Popular clips are shown from recent activity, and search is available by game title or streamer name. For English search traffic, a dedicated Twitch Clip Search page is also available.
Operator and purpose
clip-clips is planned, developed, edited, and maintained by an independent operator in Japan. Its purpose is to make Twitch clips easier to rediscover by game, streamer, language, and time range.
Game pages are not published for search traffic or advertising review by default. The operator first reviews the explanation, search settings, and static clip examples for each game.
How content is created and reviewed
Search results and clip candidates are retrieved automatically from the Twitch API. Game-specific explanations, viewing points, and search presets are edited by the operator. Static clip examples are checked for their title and Twitch destination, and candidates unsuitable for advertising are excluded.
Game pages that have not completed editorial review use noindex and do not load AdSense code. Reviewed pages are added to the published set incrementally.
Data and rights
Clip titles, thumbnails, broadcaster names, game names, view counts, and related metadata are based on data provided by Twitch. clip-clips does not copy, redistribute, directly download, or host Twitch video files.
Rights related to Twitch clips and streaming content belong to Twitch, streamers, creators, and other rights holders. If there is an issue with a clip, please also use Twitch's reporting tools or contact the relevant broadcaster where appropriate.
Advertising policy
clip-clips may display ads such as Google AdSense or Amazon Associate links to cover operating costs. Ads are placed so they do not cover the Twitch player or primary controls, and the site does not encourage invalid ad clicks.
Security
The Twitch API Client Secret is stored only on the server side and is not sent to browsers. Public pages are served over HTTPS with security headers and request limits.
Contact
For bugs, display issues, factual corrections, rights concerns, or removal requests, contact [email protected]. The operator will review the report and update or suspend publication where necessary.
